On Tuesday, January 26 CineMovie sent winner Armando Soto to the Hollywood premiere of Mel Gibson's EDGE OF DARKNESS.  Armando blogs about his experience at the red carpet event and his thoughts on the movie:

The premier for "Edge of Darkness" with Mel Gibson was a great experience. If I had the chance, I wouldn't think twice about going to a Hollywood movie premier again.

Inside the theater, I saw Mel Gibson as well as the rest of the cast of the film. As soon as Mel Gibson walked in everybody started cheering and applauding for him. It was a great experience to be watching a movie with all the actors also there. 

After the movie, I waited outside the theater and saw practically everyone that was in the movie, except for Mel Gibson, he probably went out a back way.

"Edge of Darkness" is an exciting movie that keeps you guessing and thinking about what's going to happen next. Mel Gibson is a cop that saw his daughter get shot in front of him, thus leading to all types of action and shooting scenes that keep you wanting more. Mel Gibson played a great role and did it fantastic, this being his first film in seven years after "Signs". I would and have been recommending this movie to everybody I know, so if you haven't seen it, get out there and go see a great film.
