Channing Tatum admits he was traumatized and "scared to death" having to hit a woman, no less MMA fighter and HAYWIRE star Gina Carano.
Channing Tatum told CineMovie he was very aware of who Gina Carano was as a MMA fighter and followed her career closely as a fan of the mixed martial arts sport. He joked that he was afraid of going mano-a-mano with not only a champion, but a woman. Gina kept traunting him into hitting her during the brutal scene where they beat the crap out of each other.Channing added he had never hit "a girl" before and it took him awhile to get used to the idea but once he smashed the cup in her face for the scene, it became easier. After the first take, he surprisingly started to enjoy the fight scene with the MMA fighter turned actress. Watch the interview for more with Channing Tatum.
