Kate Beckinsale in 3D for New Underworld Movie

UNDERWORLD AWAKENING is the fourth film in the Underworld series and Kate Beckinsale is back strong as ever as the warrioress vampire Selene in the new movie trailer.

It's no suprise UNDERWORLD AWAKENING will be presented in 3D, the first film in the franchise to shoot in the third dimension. In this film, Selene wakes up from a hibernation in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.

Of the original cast, only Kate Beckinsale reprises her role in the new Underworld sequel.  Scott Speedman is not in the movie despite Selene in the trailer looking for Michael.

UNDERWORLD AWAKENING is set for release in movie theaters January 20, 2012.
