George Lucas is not only re-releasing STAR WARS: Episode 1 - THE PHANTOM MENACE in 3D on February 10th but he's giving us a glimpse inside his lair at the Skywalker Ranch and all his cool toys and props from the STAR WARS series in this video tour.  It's like being in a candy store for nerds.

New and old fans will see where it all started for Darth Vader as a 3D version of the 1999 film comes to movie theatres this month. George Lucas is re-releasing STAR WARS: Episode 1 - THE PHANTOM MENACE for audiences to travel to a land far far away with their 3D glasses. Lucasfilm plans on re-leasing the STAR WARS movies in 3D one year at a time.

Skywalker Ranch is headquarters to George Lucas and heaven to STAR WARS fanatics like myself as a place only a special few have visited.  In the video, we get a glimpse of the working ranch from an aerial view and then a tour of the warehouse which houses all the STAR WARS props and models like the Death Star, Jabba's eyeballs, an R2-D2, the battleships and so much more-- that your head might explode after seeing all these cool STAR WARS goodies. It's too much eye candy one person to take.

Personally, I'd love to have R2-D2 sitting in my living room.  If you could shop at the Skywalker Ranch, What STAR WARS memorabilia would you take?
