A few thousand fans waited hours in New York and Los Angeles to see the premiere of the latest trailer for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN in 3D. Fans gave their opinion of the 3D Spider-Man experience in this video testimonial.  

Sony Pictures teased the premiere of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN trailer last week and leading up to the big reveal Monday. You may have noticed Sony skipped buying time during  Super Bowl Sunday and waited one more day for the big reveal, giving some thousand fans a thrill with a 3D trailer being shown at movie theaters in Los Angeles and New York. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN star Andrew Garfield introduced the trailer in New York.
Fans in New York said they waited in the cold for hours, but it was well-worth the wait.  In the video, most fans seemed excited after the screening and ranted about the trailer.   One fan says THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN footage she watched seemed to be faithful to the comic book.  Another fan who actually resembled the star Andrew Garfield spoke of the high-quality of the 3D.  Watch the video for more reactions.

In the reboot of the Spider-Man movie franchise, The Social Network star Andrew Garfield takes on the Spider-man role with Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy. From this new preview, we get a first glimpse of Rhys Ifan as the Lizard, the chemistry between Gwen and Peter Parker, and Spider-Man having the extra obstacle of being called a vigilante by the law enforcement. 

Directed by Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer), the film also stars Sally Field, Martin Sheen, former Brat Pack teen star C. Thomas Howell (The Outsiders), and Denis Leary as Gwen's father.  

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN will be released July 3, 2012.
