FOX premiered the new trailer for INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE on Earth Day, and aliens destroying the planet is probably the right way to go to get the message across. Watch the new action-packed trailer which has the usual landmarks getting the destruction treatment once again.
The new preview to INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE give us insight into the key players that includes a female U.S. President played by Sela Ward. and the high-tech world Earth has become since the first alien invasion 20 years ago. Liam Hemsworth seems to be the hero tasked with saving the Earth along with Jeff Goldblum.
After INDEPENDENCE DAY redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet.
