Giovanni Ribisi, Joely Richardson, Minka Kelly and Adrian Sparks as Ernest Hemingway star in PAPA: HEMINGWAY IN CUBA, the first Hollywood film to be shoot on location in Cuba since he 1950 revolution. In the movie, a young journalist ventures to Havana, Cuba in 1959 to meet his idol, the legendary Ernest Hemingway who helped him find his literary voice, while the Cuban Revolution comes to a boil around them.

PAPA marks a watershed moment in that Yari and his multinational crew filmed almost entirely in and around Havana, Cuba. A cultural milestone, helmed by an American director with Hollywood actors, a film of this significance has not been produced in Cuba in over 50-years. Bob can speak to the incredible hurdles he and his team had to overcome to shoot down there – including getting rights from State Department to shoot in Cuba based on "documentary," and the access the crew had to shoot in Hemingway’s original Cuban home. This exclusive access had never been granted before to any feature production – or even the public.

PAPA: HEMINGWAY IN CUBA opens April 29.
