Director James Wan returns to the horror franchise with THE CONJURING 2 after directing FURIOUS 7, and he reveals why he had trepidations about taking the helm of THE CONJURING  sequel. He also reveals that the production this time around went smoothly unlike the first time when strange occurrences disrupted the shoot. THE CONJURING 2 producer can take credit for that since it was his idea to bring in a priest to bless the set.

Filmmaker Monica Demes premieres her first feature length film, LILITH’S AWAKENING at the Dances with Wolves Los Angeles Film Festival Saturday. Demes credits iconic director David Lynch (BLUE VELVET, “Twin Peaks”) with opening her eyes to the fact that her story wasn’t working during the scripting process because her protagonist was a man. Once the Brazilian native pondered Lynch’s advice, her writer’s block disappeared and she felt a  liberation of ideas.

Raymond S. Persi voices the character of Flash in Disney's ZOOTOPIA, the fastest sloth in the DMV (Department of Mammal Vehicles), but he's no ordinary voice actor. Persi is actually a story artist for Walt Disney Animation Studios and an Emmy Award-winning director (for the 2006 "Simpsons" Episode: "The Seemingly Neverending Story"), and fell into the role by accident. The comedy centers on childhood friends and former members of the hip-hop group Style Boyz - Conner (Andy Samberg), Owen (Jorma Taccone) and Lawrence (Akiva Schaffer). Now at the center of a successful solo career, Conner is one of the biggest entertainers in the world. Driven by ego, he decides to film a documentary that he’s the focus of. But what the film ends up being about is his fall from the limelight.

At a recent New York press day for the film, the three leads spoke about putting the flick together.
