In the first trailer to Aaron Sorkin's BEING THE RICARDOS, we get a good look at Javier Bardem as Desi Arnaz while Nicole Kidman's turn as everyone's favorite redhead Lucille Ball is minimized to quick shots. It's hard to gauge what we'll be getting with Kidman portraying the most iconic woman on television, but we trust in Sorkin to deliver a quality film.

The new preview is dominated by Kidman's narration which reveals she fought tooth and nail to claim her rightful place as the queen of television.

BEING THE RICARDOS also stars Jake Lacy, J.K. Simmons, Nina Arianda, Tony Hale, and Alia Shawkat, and the movie will drop in movie theaters on December 10th and on Amazon Prime Video on December 21.

While most trolls have criticized the casting of Kidman as the I Love Lucy icon, BEING THE RICARDOS is less about her tv personality and more about the woman who changed television forever and her rocky marriage to the most iconic Latino on television. Yet the new trailer only reveals quick glimpses of the actress in character which was perhaps on purpose to the previous response.
