We finally have the plot and title for the new GHOSTBUSTERS movie, and it's a story we couldn't have predicted. The original stars will not be the primary characters in GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE. Instead a mother and her two children are the focus as they discover their connection to the OG ghostbusters. Take a look at the new movie poster and official synopsis.
Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard ("Stranger Things"), Carrie Coon ("The Leftovers") and Mckenna Grace star in a sequel to the original movies. An exclusive was given to Vanity Fair by Jason Reitman, and there he reveals a lot about the new movie, and it sounds like the story takes inspiration from "Stranger Things" as kids venture to discover secrets and new ghostly monsters.

From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.
