'Morbius' Star Al Madrigal Says Jared Leto Wasn't the Only One Gifting Costars Thematic Gifts

MORBIUS star Al Madrigal plays Detective Rodriguez hot on the trail of a blood-sucking monster played by Jared Leto. Jared is known to gift his costars controversial items related to his role, and Al describes the items he received from Jared as his character. The actor and comedian also says he's more of a DC Comics guy than a Marvel fan.
Directed by Daniel Espinosa (SAFE HOUSE, LIFE), MORBIUS is based on Marvel Comics. Matt Smith, Jared Harris, Adria Arjona and Tyrese Gibson star alongside Madrigal and Leto.
MORBIUS is in movie theaters April 1.
Synopsis: One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble.
