FROZEN Directors On Preparing For Oscar Night

Frozen-Directors-interview-600

Disney's hit FROZEN is the odds on favorite to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature for 2013, so we're asking the directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee if they've got their acceptance speech ready. Jennifer Lee tells us no Disney film has won the award in that category so the win will be a double celebration.

Disney’s hit film FROZEN is now available for digital release while it still dominates the box office in the top 10. The Disney animated film is enjoying success on all fronts especially with numerous awards and two Oscar nominations for Best Animated Feature and Original Score for "Let It Go."

Sue Evelyn Gil sat down with the FROZEN directors at Disney's Animation Studios in Glendale to talk about the success of the film and the home release set for March 18 on Blu-ray and DVD. We also wanted to know if they had their acceptance speech ready since FROZEN is predicted to take home the Oscar statue. While modest with the chance at winning, Chris Buck did say he would no doubt thank the countless people who worked tirelessly on the film. Jennifer Lee added that if they do win, it would be a first for Disney in winning the Oscar in that category.

Tune in Oscar night on Sunday, March 2 to hopefully see these two accept the Academy Award for FROZEN. You can still catch FROZEN in movie theaters, or on digital download or on Blu-ray and DVD March 18.
