Apple TV+ is making their streaming service much more kid-friendly given parents need lot of content during the Covid-19 quarantine. Apple is bringing back Jim Henson's classic 80s characters, The Fraggles in “Fraggle Rock: Rock On!,” and the first episode is now streaming along with other educational programming for families for free for a limited time.

Hollywood loves adapting content to the big screen, whether it’s books, anime, or video games. It’s a formula that sort of works because the source material already has a fanbase audience. But for various reasons, film adaptations of things are a tricky business. Like taking the 8-book Dark Tower series and trying to compress it into a bizarre, nearly irrelevant plot, or the absolute absurdity of the Super Mario Bros film that proves the early 90s were a very strange time.

In the many forms that this has taken over the decades, few suffer the poor reputation which arises from mixing video games and movies. This is not without reason, as some of the worst movies of all time, like the Super Mario Brothers adaption, are abominations not even worth watching to laugh at. Recently, however, this trend is being bucked.

Warner Bros. has moved around some of their movie release dates due to the coronavirus lockdown including a bunch of DC Movies. THE BATMAN starring Robert Pattinson ceased production amid the nationwide shutdown of business as usual as well as delayed the start of production of other films in their slate including "The Sopranos" prequel movie. Depending on when production can resume, Warner Bros. may change the dates again, but here is what they are planning for their upcoming slate.

For the first time in 50 years, San Diego's Comic-Con will not be happening this summer because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Large gatherings like conventions are being banned throughout California for the rest of the year, and Comic-Con International faced a hard decision. The 13-episode series will debut internationally April 12, and stars Nicky Jam as himself narrating the story while a young actor plays his younger self recreating the events that fueled his rise to fame from a rough upbringing.
“Nicky Jam: El Ganador” is directed by acclaimed film and music video director Jessy Terrero.

Los Angeles, Ca—"Nicky Jam: El Ganador," the authorized bio-series based on the life and career of the Latin music superstar, will be available to Netflix members in the U.S. on Tuesday, April 21. The 13-episode series previously debuted on Netflix internationally.
“Nicky Jam: El Ganador” tells the life story of award-winning Nicky Jam, a singer-songwriter, who has become a worldwide music phenomenon. From his humble and troubled start in Boston, to his downfall on the streets, to becoming the king of one of the most popular musical genres, this is not only the life of Nicky Jam, but the history of reggaeton itself.
The series is directed by acclaimed film and music video director Jessy Terrero and produced by Endemol Shine Boomdog, a division of Endemol Shine North America. Juan Diego Medina of La Industria Inc. and Sergio Pizzolante, served as executive producers.
“I’ve been hearing from many of my fans on social media and when I talk with them in person, that they’ve been waiting for the chance to see ‘El Ganador’ in the U.S. on Netflix,” said Nicky Jam. “Now they will get to see it starting April 21 and I hope they enjoy it like so many others have across the world. I’m really proud of what we created.”
“I am excited about bringing this level of story-telling that is related to reggaeton music,” added Terrero. “The genre’s popularity gives our story and others like it the opportunity to reach a much larger audience. The organizers behind San Diego's Comic Con announced they still plan on holding the July 23-26 convention this summer even as medical experts predict this coronavirus pandemic may extend until September. The annual event is the hottest ticket in San Diego, but the prospect of attending an overcrowded convention may not be ideal to many. While many have wished for years to get a hard-to-get ticket to attend, this year may be different. The Walt Disney Studios released new dates for just some of their films but not all. MULAN, Marvel's BLACK WIDOW, FREE GUY (starring Ryan Reynolds) were pushed to later this year and others like JUNGLE BOOK to 2021. Pixar's SOUL will remain on its original date of June 19. The new Marvel slate is also out beyond 2021. ARTEMIS FOWL will now premiere exclusively on Disney+ but no timeframe was announced.
