Dwayne Johnson is fighting lions as Hercules in the new motion poster for his new movie. Preview the new moving one-sheet.
Brett Ratner (Rush Hour movies, X-Men: The Last Stand) directs Dwayne Johnson as the mythical hero and all-star cast which includes Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan and John Hurt. Based on Radical Comics’"Hercules," the ensemble-action film is being angled as a "revisionist" take on the Greek demigod.
The new motion picture depicts Hercules facing off with a lion. It's obviously inspired by the famous painting by Pieter Paul Rubens in which Hercules fights with the Nemeean lion.
HERCULES flexes his muscles in movie theaters July 25.
