New Movie Poster: 'Maleficent' Sequel Title and Release Date Announced

Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning return as Maleficent and Princess Aurora in the Disney sequel titled MALEFICENT: MISTRESS OF EVIL opening October 18, 2019. A new (very goth) poster was unveiled for the announcement. The new title is an interesting one in that it brings up the question whether it's referring to Maleficent or a new threat to the magical land of the Moors.
Michelle Pfeiffer joins the cast as Queen Ingrith. Perhaps the title could be applied to her character if she's playing a villain. Also joining the magical fray is Ed Skrein, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple and other returning cast members include Sam Riley and Imelda Stanton.
The official synopsis does not reveal the plot of the story but it'll be interesting to see how they play with the Disney fairytale in a sequel.
