Not only are we excited for Gal Gadot to return as Wonder Woman in WONDER WOMAN 1984, but Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) is back from the dead, Pedro Pascal is the villain, Max Lord,  Kristen Wiig is in her initial phases of becoming The Cheetah and our favorite decade is in the new trailer. Accompanied by a new rendition of the 80s classic "Blue Monday" by New Order, this new preview looks epic and it's now on the top of one of the highly-anticipated movies list of 2020.

While we really love that Steve is back, the lingering question is how is it possible that he's back from the dead and why he still looks the same age after 60s years. Was he frozen in ice like Steve Rogers/Captain America? Did someone bring him back for their evil deeds?  I predict the ending may be another hit for fans when we most likely lose Steve once again.

We won't get answers until next year when WONDER WOMAN 1984 hits theaters June 5.

Official WONDER WOMAN Synopis:

Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing two all-new foes: Max Lord and The Cheetah. With director Patty Jenkins back at the helm and Gal Gadot returning in the title role, “Wonder Woman 1984” is Warner Bros. Pictures’ follow up to the DC Super Hero’s first outing, 2017’s record-breaking “Wonder Woman,” which took in $822 million at the worldwide box office. The film also stars Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as The Cheetah, Pedro Pascal as Max Lord, Robin Wright as Antiope, and Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta.
