Michael B Jordan on Editing 'Creed III:' 'Scenes Had To Be Ripped From My Fingers'

Michael B. Jordan reveals to CineMovie that editing CREED III, his directorial debut, was a difficult process when making decisions to cut scenes.

The CREED sequel is structurally tight in that there is no wasted scene or downtime (to go the bathroom, in my case), and he says that was a product of hard work that often called for cutting out scenes he was attached to. "They had to be "ripped from my fingers,' he says of editing his movie. Watch what else he had to say about acting and directing for the first time.

CREED III is now playing in movie theaters. Critics are praising Michael B. Jordan's directorial debut and Jonathan Majors's performance. In the interview, Ryan Coogler, the original director of CREED and executive producer of CREED III, chimes in on his support for the new director and why he felt Michael was ready to helm his first film.

In CREED III, Adonis is retired from boxing and focused on the next generation of fighters but when a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy resurfaces, the face-off is more than just a fight.
