Mexican actor Miguel Rodarte stars in the Carlos Cuaron film, AMALGAMA with real-life friends Tony Dalton (Better Call Saul, Hawkeye), Manolo Cardona (Who Killed Sara?) and Stephanie Cayo. The four actors play dentists in AMALGAMA vying for the woman's attention while discovering their own flaws and relationships during a distraction in paradise.
Three men and a woman, all of them dentists, travel to the Mayan Riviera for a quick getaway during a dental conference in Mexico. The weekend in paradise pits the friends against each other when the men compete for their female friend's attention. Directed by Carlos Cuaron (Y TU MAMA TAMBIEN, RUDO Y CURSI) and written by Cuaron and Luis Usabiaga.

Spanish Synopsis
AMALGAMA, dirigida por Carlos Cuarón, cuenta la historia de cuatro dentistas, tres hombres y una mujer que se reúnen en una convención dental anual en la Riviera Maya de México. Si bien dos de ellos son viejos amigos y rivales, los otros dos solo se conocieron en convenciones pasadas. Todos huyen de sus propias historias dolorosas. En una diminuta isla del Caribe mexicano, pasarán un fin de semana salvaje que marcará sus vidas para siempre.
