In “Final Destination 5,” Death is just as omnipresent as ever, and is unleashed after one man’s premonition saves a group of coworkers from a terrifying suspension bridge collapse. But this group of unsuspecting souls was never supposed to survive, and, in a terrifying race against time, the ill-fated group frantically tries to discover a way to escape Death’s sinister agenda.

The second of the Final Destination films to be shot in 3D, “Final Destination 5” is directed by Steven Quale, marking his major feature film directorial debut. The screenplay was written by Eric Heisserer.

The film brings together an ensemble cast, including Nicholas D’Agosto (“Fired Up!,” TV’s “Heroes”), Emma Bell (“Frozen,” TV’s “The Walking Dead”), Miles Fisher (TV’s “Mad Men” and “Gossip Girl”), Arlen Escarpeta (“Friday the 13th”), with David Koechner (“The Office,” “Anchorman”) and “Final Destination” franchise icon Tony Todd (“Hatchet II”). Rounding out the cast are Courtney B. Vance (TV’s “Flash Forward,” “ER”), P.J. Byrne (“Dinner for Schmucks”), Ellen Wroe (TV’s “Huge”) and Jacqueline MacInnes-Wood.

"Final Destination" is in movie theaters August 12, 2011.

Tom Hardy Stars in Warrior Movie & Coffee Table Book

Tom Hardy movie WarriorAfter breaking out in Christopher Nolan's Inception and starring in the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises, actor Tom Hardy is on the rise and headlining a new inspirational action drama WARRIOR, directed by Gavin O'Connor (Miracle).  WARRIOR, also starring Joel Edgerton (Animal Kingdom, Star Wars: Episode III), will also be accompanied by a coffee table book, The Men of Warrior, featuring photographs from the new film.

In WARRIOR, Tom Hardy is a Marine returning home for the first time in fourteen years to enlist the help of his father (Nick Nolte) to train for Sparta, the biggest winner-takes-all event in mixed martial arts history. A former wrestling prodigy, Tommy blazes a path toward the championship while his brother, Brendan (Edgerton), an ex-fighter-turned teacher, returns to the ring in a desperate bid to save his family from financial ruin.  But when Brendan’s unlikely, underdog rise sets him on a collision course with the unstoppable Tommy, the two brothers must finally confront each other and the forces that pulled them apart, facing off in the most soaring, soul stirring, and unforgettable climax that must be seen to be believed.

The Men Of Warrior coffee table shot by famed photographer Tim Palen book features stunning photographs of the actors and fighters featured in the film, including Tom Hardy, who also wrote the book’s foreword, Joel Edgerton, Erik Apple, Nate Marquardt, and Ron “RJ” Messenger.  In its pages, Hardy and Edgerton show off their hard-earned fighting bodies and bloodied upper lips, capturing the tough and dramatic world of WARRIOR in a series of iconic images, all of which are poster-worthy. The 128 page book will be on sale August 9, 2011, a month before the film's release on September 9, 2011.

Movie Trailer: Selena Gomez in MONTE CARLO

The who's who of young Hollywood share the screen in the upcoming romantic comedy MONTE CARLO.  Selena Gomez, Glee's Cory Monteith, Melrose Place's Katie Cassidy and Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester star in MONTE CARLO in movie theaters July 1st.

Grace (Selena Gomez) is an ordinary girl who becomes an accidental princess when a family summer trip to Paris turns into the fantasy of a lifetime.  Living like royalty, Grace, along with her two best friends, discovers who she really is – by assuming another person’s identity.

Freshly minted high school grad Grace (Selena Gomez) and best friend Emma (Katie Cassidy) are jettisoning their waitress jobs in Texas for a trip to Paris.  But Grace’s killjoy stepsister Meg (Leighton Meester) is involuntarily installed as chaperone by Grace’s mother (Andie MacDowell) and soon-to-be stepfather (Brett Cullen).  Meanwhile, Emma’s boyfriend, Owen (Cory Monteith), is trying to put the kibosh on the trip altogether with a ring and proposal.

Grace and Emma, however, will not be deterred from crème brulee by the Seine, and soon enough, the two friends, with Megan in tow, arrive in France.
