Batman vs. Superman director Zack Snyder released the first image of Ben Affleck as Batman on Twitter Tuesday morning and not only is he Hulk-ed up in that new suit but it's kind of freaky-looking.
What is up with Zack Snyder and his fascination with rock hard abs? From 300 to Man of Steel, he likes to beef up his actors. Some complained Henry Cavill's Superman physique was to too wide. He continues the tradition with a bulky suit for the new Batman suit with Ben Affleck looking more the Dark Hulk than the Dark Knight with veiny-like muscles on the suit. At least it doesn't have nipples, but the life-like resemblance to a steroid-fueled body gives it a menacing look.
In the new image, we also get a glimpse of the new Batmobile which may be more spaceship than a tumbler, and looks like a leftover from Krypton.
