Ridley Scott's ALIEN: COVENANT has a new release date and new teaser poster. The classic alien makes an appearance on the new one-sheet for the PROMETHEUS sequel and the movie release date has moved up three months to May of 2017.
Die hard fans should be thrilled with the look of the alien on the first poster for ALIEN: COVENANT. After the PROMETHEUS' alien proved to be a disappointment, the alien on the new poster closely resembles the space monsters we've come to fear. And the tagline, "Run" adds to the menace of these creatures.
Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the ‘synthetic’ David (Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.”
ALIEN: COVENANT was set to hit theaters on October 6, 2017, but the poster reveals the new date has moved up to May 19, 2017.
