The description from Sony Pictures describes Safrin as "007’s most terrifying adversary yet." Bond (James Craig) in the latest trailer does say, 'if we don't do this, there will be nothing else to save," suggesting this villain wants an apocalypse. Ironically, Malek isn't the only Oscar winner to play a villain in a 007 film. Academy Award winners Javier Bardem (SKYFALL) and Christoph Waltz (SPECTRE) have portrayed Bond nemeses.
