Christmas came early with a first look at the BLADE RUNNER sequel starring Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling. Warner Bros. also released the official plot of the movie.Under the direction of Denis Villeneuve (ARRIVAL, SICARIO) the first preview for BLADE RUNNER 2049 already looks promising.
Here's what we know from the first teaser trailer. Ryan Gosling is now the cop with Harrison Ford's Deckard looking like he's retired from the job of finding replicants. This world looks a lot less gritty, but still feels like the same environment.
BLADE RUNNER 2049 boasts a great cast not seen in the first trailer. Jared Leto, Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Release), Robin Wright, Dave Bautista and The Walking Dead's Lennie James.
Official Synopsis:Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos. K's discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
Now comes the hard part - waiting until October 6, 2017 to see if this follow-up holds up to the original Ridley Scott movie.
