The new poster and trailer for Marvel's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is certainly going for the retro look with a classic sci-fi feel in the new preview. And surprise, surprise Glenn Close makes a cameo.

The colorful new movie poster for Marvel's latest superhero adventure is reminiscent of classic 70s outer space adventures such as "Buck Rogers." One look at the old poster for the tv show below and you can see some of the comparisons.
The new trailer also continues the fun feel to the intergalactic adventure of misfits with some good old rock n' roll music accompanying it. Expect lot of comedy in usual Marvel fashion but this latest outing of a comic book adaptation feels a lot different than the Captain America, Iron Man and Avenger movies.
Directed by James Gunn, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Nova Prime Rael and Benicio Del Toro as The Collector.
