Finally, Ewan McGregor returns as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the highly-anticipated Disney Plus series premiering May 25. The new trailer also sees the return of the intense score from the prequel movies but the visual aesthetic is different than those debated movies for a much darker visual tone. Watch the new preview.

As predicted, the story takes place 10 years after the events from STAR WARS: EPISODE III - REVENGE OF THE SITH and the Empire is still on the hunt for Jedi’s. There’s plenty of new intriguing characters including female villains and Grand Inquisitor from Star Wars Rebels.
However, the one character we're dying to see is not in the first trailer - Darth Vader. Hayden Christensen is reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker turned to the dark side. The good things will be withheld from STAR WARS fans until closer to the release.

The series stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader and joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton who we briefly saw in the , Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.
