In WATER FOR ELEPHANTS, Jacob, a college student, (Pattinson) loses his parents and runs away, joining a circus. The circus ringmaster hires him on (Inglorious Basterds' Christopher Waltz) and the young man becomes infatuated with his wife, the beautiful circus star (Witherspoon). Jacob, a veterinarian student, becomes responsible for Rosie, the elephant, the circus' new main attraction.
