Based on a true story, DOLPHIN TALE tells the story of Winter, a dolphin whose tail had to be amputated and replaced with a prosthetic tail. Played by the actual dolphin, Winter stars with Harry Connick, Jr. and Nathan Gamble, the boy who helps Winter recover from his injury in this clip from the inspirational story. Morgan Freeman, his frequent co-star Ashley Judd (Kiss The Girls) and Kris Kristofferson also star in DOLPHIN TALE as compassionate strangers coming together to save the rescued dolphin. After arriving at Clearwater Marine Hospital, Winter's tale must be amputated to save her spine, but without a tale, her chances of survival are zero. Nathan Gamble is Sawyer, a young tween who frees the young dolphin from the crab trab which severely damaged her tail. Sawyer's dedication to his new friend helps them both overcome their obstacles.
