OMG! Ridley Scott and 20th Century Fox have been holding out. The new PROMETHEUS trailer reveals a lot in 2:54 minutes including at least 3 alien creatures and more of Charlize Theron's character as the boss of the PROMETHEUS crew.

Finally we get a better look at the space jockey/engineer in this new preview with a peek at two new creatures. The first snake-looking creature shows itself to a crew member in the caves and latches on to his arm, making its way into his helmet. Another creature in a jar explodes in the science lab perhaps from one of David's (Michael Fassbender) experiment. The space jockey also gets more screen time with a clear look at the alien engineer in three different shots including a holographic image of the alien engineer.
In the new PROMETHEUS preview, Charlize Theron's character Meredith finally gets her chance to show her true colors. Meredith heads up the expedition and makes it clear the crew only answers to her. In previous trailers, we've gotten to know the crew of Prometheus with insight into Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, and Rafe Spall's character. Peter Weyland's character even got his own fake TED talk a few months ago.
The new trailer certainly increases the interest in Ridley Scott's return to sci-fi action and material for more fan interpretations of the plot.
PROMETHEUS is in movie theatres June 1, 2012.
