Blockbuster producer Dean Devlin (STARGATE, INDEPENDENCE DAY) transitioned from producing to directing and financing his own filmS. He has a lot riding on his second directorial effort with the indie thriller BAD SAMARITAN starring David Tennant and Robert Sheehan.  CineMovie talks to him about his big gamble and working with the brilliant David Tennant of "Doctor Who" fame. Producer Dean Devlin, best known for producing Hollywood blockbusters such as INDEPENDENCE DAY and GODZILLA, has traded in studio films for independent filmmaking with his first venture as director of BAD SAMARITAN. Devlin has taken to the directing chair and independently-financed the thriller, BAD SAMARITAN starring David Tennant.

In BAD SAMARITAN, David Tennant plays a playboy millionaire with a penchant for torturing women in BAD SAMARITAN. Two petty burglars (Robert Sheehan, Carlito Olivero) stumble upon a woman being held captive by Tennant's maniacal character. BAD SAMARITAN is no playing in movie theaters.
