The “Eyegore Awards” at Universal Studios Hollywood kicks off Halloween Horror Nights this year with its annual awards show that will honor Robert Rodriguez, “The Walking Dead’s” Greg Nicotero, filmmaker John Landis (“An American Werewolf in London” and Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”) with special guests Danny Trejo, AMC’s “The Talking Dead” Chris Hardwick, SLASH, veteran Special Effects Make-up artist Rick Baker. For the first time, fans can attend the special event on September 19.

CineMovie along with other Latina bloggers took the challenge of THE PURGE: BREAKOUT, an immersive escape-game experience based on the world of Universal Pictures’ THE PURGE. As a group you have to work together in a confined space in a trailer to find clues in order to get out. You can’t move forward until you’ve figured out the mind-bending puzzles, and your deadline is 30 minutes until the Purge begins. Suffice it to say, our group had some luck but was it enough to save ourselves from the Purge.
