Disney delivered the goods at the D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center Friday and Saturday with their upcoming slate for all their divisions. Disney live-action, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation, Marvel, Lucasfilm and 20th Century Studios announced new projects and unveiled new footage and concept art for previously announced films or Disney+ series. Lucasfilm's Kathleen Kennedy, Marvel Studio's Kevin Feige and Alan Bergman, chairman of The Walt Disney Studios paraded out the star-studded cast and filmmakers. A sequel to ENCHANTED with Amy Adams, Patrick Demsey Idina Menzel and James Marsden is coming to Disney+ this Thanksgiving with DISENCHANTED. Fifteen years since the original, Giselle (Adams) and the family move to the suburbs but she casts a spell turning the town into a fairytale including becoming an evil stepmother. Warner Bros. dropped a new BLACK ADAM trailer starring Dwayne Johnson, and we're finally meeting the entire DCEU crew known as the Justice Society. We got a glimpse of Dr. Fate (Pierce Brosnan) and Hawkman (Aldis Hodge) in previous trailers but now we're meeting Noah Centineo's Atom Smasher and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone. Viola Davis also makes a surprise cameo as SUICIDE SQUAD'S Amanda Waller tying the previous films.

A new trailer was released with the new lead, Raymond Lee taking over Dr. Sam Beckett's (Bakula) job - traveling back in time to another person's body to help them. The first full preview has physicist Ben Song (Lee) traveling back to the 80s.

Paramount Pictures released the first photos from Damien Chazelle's (LA LA LAND) BABYLON starring Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Diego Calva (Narcos: Mexico), with an ensemble cast including Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li and Jean Smart. As the movie title suggests, the outrageous excess of 1920s Hollywood is explored in BABYLON. See the newly released stills below.

The live-action adaptation of Disney's PINOCCHIO starring Tom Hanks as Geppetto and a CGI wooden boy is a shot-by-shot recreation of the 1940's Disney classic in a more visually-stunning format with many Easter Eggs for Disney fans. Aside from the cinematic upgrade and addition of a diverse cast, Disney+'s PINOCCHIO doesn't offer much in terms of novelty.

Darren Aronofsky is back with another divisive movie in THE WHALE. THE WHALE star Brendan Fraser received an 6-minute standing ovation at the 79th Venice Film Festival after the screening for his portrayal of a reclusive obese man but the critics aren’t entirely praising Aronofsky’s latest effort and two critic’s choice of words in their reviews are in poor taste.

Olivia Wilde’s DON’T WORRY DARLING premiered at the Venice Film Festival with the director and stars Florence Pugh, Chris Pine, Harry Styles, Gemma Chan and Nick Kroll in attendance Monday. Pugh received a standing ovation at the festival premiere, and the early reviews are lavishing their praises on the actress for carrying the movie set in an idyllic ’50s community. Power Rangers, the longest-running kids’ live-action series will return for the 30th season in 2023. Production will begin shooting this Fall in New Zealand. The latest incarnation of the series, Power Rangers: Dino Fury, is now streaming on Netflix with the second half of the current season premiering on September 29, 2022. The story will continue in the 30th season with the current line-up of Power Rangers.
