Apple TV's Constellation Inspired By Real Effects of Going Into Space, Says Show Creator Peter Harness and Director Michelle MacLaren

Constellation tv series producers Peter Harness and Michelle MacLaren interview

Starring Noomi Rapace, Apple TV's eight-part series, Constellation, explores the hidden history of space travel and its effect on the human psyche. In our chat with creator/showrunner Peter Harness and director Michelle MacLaren, the premise of the show is inspired by the cognitive shift in astronauts called the "overview effect." Harness explains the phenomena and how it influenced the story while MacLaren gives us insight into how zero gravity was achieved in the studio.

Constellation is now streaming on Apple TV with a new episode premiering every Wednesday through March 27.  The series also stars James D'Arcy, Will Catlett and Jonathan Banks  (Breaking Bad).
