WAVES director and writer Trey Edward Shults (IT COMES AT NIGHT) is receiving a lot of acclaim for his beautifully-shot film which takes you into the lives of a black suburban family. CineMovie sat down with the director/writer to discuss his cinematic choices.
WAVES stars Sterling K. Brown, Kelvin Harrison Jr. ("Godfather of Harlem") Taylor Russell ("Lost in Space") and Alexa Demie (HBO's "Euphoria"). WAVES has a profound impact on the viewer with the subject matter, and the way he places the camera so that the viewer feels immersed in the character's dilemmas and feelings.
