Joe Taslim (Mortal Kombat II, The Raid: Redemption) stars in The Furious, a relentless martial arts action film from Hong Kong action director Kenji Tanigaki. The actor compares this intense, action-driven movie to his breakout hit, The Raid: Redemption. The martial artist and actor also reveals that the cast performed all their own stunts in long takes that rarely cut away.
The Furious opens in movie theaters on June 12.
Synopsis
After the daughter of Wang Wei (Xie Miao) is kidnapped by a criminal network and he receives no help from the corrupt police, Wei sets out on a rampage to find her himself. His only ally is Navin (Joe Taslim) – a relentless journalist whose wife has mysteriously disappeared. Fueled by a furious vengeance, the unlikely duo ruthlessly fights against the kidnappers in this explosive martial arts showdown.
