Joseph Gordon-Levitt nails his portrayal of the real Edward Snowden in Oliver Stone's SNOWDEN. As Stone's first choice to play the lead, he was on board but others in his professional life cautioned him about taking on such a polarizing figure. He also admits to CineMovie that he didn't know much about Snowden before taking on the role.
