Margo’s Got Money Troubles is officially coming back for a second season. Apple TV+ announced the renewal of the critically acclaimed comedy from acclaimed producer and writer David E. Kelley ahead of the show’s season finale debut on May 20, 2026.
The series stars and is executive produced by Elle Fanning, alongside executive producers Michelle Pfeiffer and Nicole Kidman. The ensemble cast also includes Nick Offerman, Thaddea Graham, Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty and Lindsey Normington.
Based on the bestselling novel by Rufi Thorpe and produced by A24, the comedy-drama follows Margo, a struggling young mother and aspiring writer trying to survive mounting bills and the chaos of family life. Fanning plays the title character, whose unconventional upbringing includes an ex-Hooters waitress mother and former pro wrestler father, played by Pfeiffer and Offerman.
The renewal continues Apple TV+’s successful partnership with Kelley following the popularity of Presumed Innocent, which is currently in production on its second season.
Meanwhile, the penultimate episode of season one, titled “Lariat Takedown,” premiered this week, setting up what promises to be an emotional and chaotic finale next week.
