This Earth Month, The Walt Disney Company and National Geographic are inviting audiences to Step Into Wonder, a month-long global campaign celebrating the natural world through storytelling, streaming content, and real-world experiences.
The Earth Month celebration includes new premieres, curated streaming collections on Disney+, social media campaigns, educational activities for families, and conservation initiatives. The campaign is designed to inspire audiences to explore nature and better understand the planet.
Earth Month Series and Streaming Lineup
Two major premieres headline the Earth Month programming lineup:
• Secrets of the Bees – Now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu, this two-part National Geographic series explores the hidden world of bees using groundbreaking filming technology.
• Orangutan – Premieres April 22 on Disney+, following a young orangutan growing up in the rainforest canopy of Southeast Asia.
The Earth Month Collection on Disney+ will also feature nature and wildlife titles including:
• Ocean with David Attenborough
• Cheetahs Up Close with Bertie Gregory
•A Real Bug’s Life Season 2
Earth Month Experiences and Events
The “Step Into Wonder” campaign also includes interactive experiences like The Wonder List, a digital hub with weekly themes encouraging families to explore nature, and a special Earth Month event at the La Brea Tar Pits from April 17–23.
National Geographic will also host livestreams, social media videos, photography challenges, and editorial content throughout the month, celebrating the beauty of the natural world.
Disney Conservation Fund Milestone
Earth Month also marks the 30th anniversary of the Disney Conservation Fund, which has contributed more than $141 million to conservation efforts worldwide, helping protect wildlife habitats, support endangered species, and connect millions of children with nature.
