Peacock’s The Traitors is mixing reality TV veterans with some acting talent for its next celebrity showdown.
 
The Emmy-winning competition series will return next year with 23 celebrities trying to deceive their way through the game under the watchful eye of host Alan Cumming. While The Traitors has become known for pulling contestants from the reality TV universe, the new lineup throws several established actors into the mix.
 
Broadway and screen star Kristin Chenoweth joins actors Dominic Monaghan, Casey Wilson and Johnny Sibilly. They’ll have to test their deception skills against reality TV players who already know a thing or two about alliances, strategy and backstabbing.
 
The reality-heavy contingent includes Survivor players Michele Fitzgerald and Q Burdette, Big Brother stars Jag Bains and Taylor Hale, The Challenge veteran Rachel Robinson and Bachelor star Joey Graziadei. The cast also features Housewives Cynthia Bailey, Gizelle Bryant and Bronwyn Newport, along with Love Island USA’s JaNa Craig, Southern Charm’s Craig Conover and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt.
 
Rounding out the eclectic lineup are RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Bianca Del Rio, Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim, singer Cody Simpson, comedian and Love Island personality Iain Stirling, content creator Boman Martinez-Reid, Next Gen NYC’s Emira D’Spain and NFL star Rashad Jennings.
 
The mix could make for an interesting roundtable. Reality veterans may come in with a strategic advantage, but watching seasoned actors attempt to determine who is actually acting could add a whole new wrinkle to the game.
 
Meanwhile, NBC has launched The Traitors: New Blood, which swaps celebrities for everyday Americans. New episodes air Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and stream the following day on Peacock.
Peacock has already renewed The Traitors for three additional seasons.
