Joseph Gordon Levitt and LOOPER director Rian Johnson sat down with CineMovie's Zay Zay in Miami. Zay Zay asked Joseph the question everyone's been dying to know - how does he keep his youthful looks in his two decades of acting? The 31 year-old joked he started acting in the womb with his mom's special uterus. While Joseph didn't want to reveal his beauty secrets, he did tell CineMovie Rian first told him about the project when they worked together on their critically acclaimed collaboration in Brick. Rian wrote the part of Joe for Joseph, and even used his real name as the looper hitman.
Joseph Gordon Levitt, Bruce Willis, and Emily Blunt star in the sci-fi thriller LOOPER directed by Rian Johnson. In the future when the mob wants to whack someone, they send them back via time travel where Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character awaits them for the kill. Joe's happy to be a looper until they send his future self played by Bruce Willis.
When asked why LOOPER is the film to see, Joseph recommended the futuristic movie for those who enjoyed films like Inception which is the type of film he loves to watch, and LOOPER is that type of film. LOOPER has received some positive movie reviews, and any comparisons to Christopher Nolan's movie which Joseph starred in can't hurt.
LOOPER is now playing in movie theaters.
