A scary movie reboot, singing 3D birds, and a historical period piece open in movie theaters the weekend of April 15.
Scream 4 reunites the original cast, writer and director Wes Craven for another bloody chapter in Ghost Face's history. While the urban and genre fans revist the Scream franchise, families will be flocking to the vibrant 3D animation film Rio starring the voices of Anne Hathaway, Jamie Foxx, George Lopez and The Social Network's Jesse Eisenberg.
In limited release, The Conspirator directed by Robert Redford, stars James McAvoy (Wanted), Robin Wright, Alexis Bledel (Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants), Kevin Kline, Justin Long, Tom Wilkinson, and Evan Rachel Wood ("True Blood") in a film chronicling the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln's assassination.

Ghostface is back to claim new victims. Courteney Cox, David Arquette, and Neve Campbell reunite with director Wes Craven for SCRE4M, the fourth installment of the SCREAM franchise.
Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Anthony Anderson, Anna Paquin, Kristin Bell, Rory Culkin, and Adam Brody join the returning cast of SCRE4M.

Rio
Jamie Foxx, Anne Hathaway, and George Lopez lend their voices and musical talents to RIO as feathered friends along with Academy Award nominee Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network), Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am, Leslie Mann, Rodrigo Santoro (300) and Tracy Morgan (30 Rock). In RIO, Blu (Jesse Eisenberg), a domesticated Macaw who never learned to fly, travels to Rio de Janeiro to mate with the only other surviving Macaw named Jewel (voiced by Anne Hathaway). Once in Brazil, Jewel and Blu are on the run from animal smugglers with help from a group of wise-cracking and smooth-talking city birds.

The Conspirator
In the wake of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, seven men and one woman are arrested and charged with conspiring to kill the President, Vice President, and Secretary of State. The lone woman charged, Mary Surratt (ROBIN WRIGHT), 42, owns a boarding house where John Wilkes Booth (TOBY KEBBELL), 26, and others met and planned the simultaneous attacks.
Against the ominous back-drop of post-Civil War Washington, newly-minted lawyer, Frederick Aiken (JAMES McAVOY), a 28-year-old Union war-hero, reluctantly agrees to defend Surratt before a military tribunal. Aiken realizes his client may be innocent and that she is being used as bait and hostage in order to capture the only conspirator to have escaped a massive manhunt, her own son, John (JOHNNY SIMMONS). As the nation turns against her, Surratt is forced to rely on Aiken to uncover the truth and save her life. A riveting thriller, The Conspirator tells a powerful and true story about America then and now.
