Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Maika Monroe Blew Away Crew, Says The Hand That Rocks The Cradle Director Michelle Garza Cervera

THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE director Michelle Garza Cervera reveals that the movie crew was in awe of Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Maika Monroe's performances on set. The Mexican filmmaker says she purposely kept the actresses apart to build up the tension between the characters.

Garza Cervera came to Hollywood's attention after her critical hit, HUESERA: THE BONE WOMAN (2022).  The 2022 film opened the doors to more work in Tinseltown.

20th Century Studios’ THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE premieres exclusively on Hulu on October 22, 2025.
