The updated version of ROAD HOUSE is going to be a brutal one with Jake Gyllenhaal's Dalton as a former UFC fighter who takes on real-life UFC star Conor McGregor in his first-ever film role. THE UFC element will no doubt bring in the targeted audience - the male demographic.

Jake Gyllenhaal has some big muscles to fill in a reimagining of the 1989 Patrick Swayze film. Director Doug Limon (MR. & MRS. SMITH, EDGE OF TOMORROW) always delivers on the action so we have faith that he will make the "re-imagining" worthwhile. The official synopsis describes the movie as filled with bloodshed, massive explosions, epic boat chases and jolts of mischief," and "some playful surprises along the way."

The cast is filled with other familiar faces such as Daniela Melchior (THE SUICIDE SQUAD), Billy Magnussen (NO TIME TO DIE), Joaquim de Almedia (Queen of the South), JD Pardo (MC Mayans), Lukas Gage (Euphoria) and Arturo Castro (Broad City).

ROAD HOUSE will stream globally on Prime Video starting Thursday, March 21 in more than 240 territories worldwide.
