There’s no need for Disney to make a Han Solo origins story because it’s been done in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. The new Marvel movie is not only lots of fun and a riot, but there are recognizable elements that are comparable to Star Wars.

I got to know Jason Segel in ways I’d rather not in SEX TAPE. The SEX TAPE star is obviously not shy about sharing his body with the world. It was surprising how much skin was shed in the film, but what do you expect from a movie called SEX TAPE. This might be the first comedy where you may want to look away for your eyes sake.

We don’t expect much from sequels especially a reboot of a franchise, but I’m happy to report that DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES doesn’t suffer from sequelities, and it may be better than “Rise of the Planet of the Apes.”

Michael Bay replaced the human cast as well as some of the Transformers, but what the franchise really needs is a change in director and writer. Even with a new cast, TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION treads familiar ground and feels like more of the same. Of course we go for the spectacle, but why can't we get a good story to go along with it?
